1. Laughter Really is Contagious (Ha + HA = HA HA HA HA HA!)  

Researchers at University College London found what they believe
is evidence that laughter truly is contagious. When people hear the 
sound of laughter, it stimulates the portion of the brain 
that is also active when we smile, priming the listeners’ facial 
muscles to start smiling or laughing on their own. The researchers 
suggest that by preparing listeners to also smile or laugh, the 
brain is helping us nurture closer relationships and build bonds 
between people.

Wear something a little wacky or outrageous under your 
professional attire to remind yourself to lighten up at work. 
(I’ve seen and heard it all: from a secret club of Mickey 
Mouse underwear wearers, to a fellow who had wacky inner linings
on his suit jackets to remind himself to not take his job
too seriously!)
